Fine Water Spray, a water-based fire protection technology totally unaffected by enclosure integrity, has changed the approach to fire safety by offering a reliable and safe means to extinguish fires. The small droplets delivered by the Fine Water Spray system provide rapid cooling of the fuel and fire plume, and subsequent extinguishment by oxygen depletion.

The Fine Water Spray's benign nature, being totally safe for humans, allows for automatic and immediate activation of the fire extinguishing system affording end-users hundreds and sometimes millions of dollars in savings due to reduced fire damage and minimum down time.

Securiplex is at the forefront of the industry with its Factory Mutual approvals for the protection of:

Machinery Spaces

The Fire-Scope® 2000 system will extinguish the fire and cool the resulting radiant heat thus eliminating the probability of re-ignition in highly flammable areas such as machinery spaces.

Gas Turbine Enclosures

The Fine Water Spray system has been proven to be completely harmless and yet highly effective for the protection of gas turbines. The Fire-Scope® 2000 will extinguish fires rapidly and at the same time cool the turbine casing in a uniform manner.

Semiconductor Equipment

The Fire-Scope® 2000 system will extinguish fires in seconds even in the most severe flammable liquid processes. The low pressure and the fine droplets used present no danger of hot acid splashing and are safe for personnel.

Suitable for: open face wet benches, mini-environments, plating machines, spin dryers, solvent tools, flammable liquid baths.

Local Application

The Fire-Scope® 2000 system is used in local application to protect specific areas of an equipment or when the hazard to be protected is located in a large volume space where total flooding is not feasible.

The need for an enclosure is eliminated and there are no dimension restrictions since it is designed to discharge directly onto the high risk equipment being protected. Local application of the Securiplex Fine Water Spray system is ideal on any Class B fires whether it originates from a fuel spillage or pressurized pipe rupture.

Hooked up to plant water and air supply

The low pressure characteristics of the Fire-Scope® 2000 system enable the installation to benefit from existing, on-site water and air supplies. This approach allows for installations with extended discharges affording additional fire protection to the installation.

With no post-discharge refilling and low maintenance requirements, the plant service is a practical and economical solution.
